  This is a very historic site which gives visitors a bit of an appreciation of the history of the City of Harare. The park has some of the best views of the city with excellent panoramic views. On a clear day you can even see planes take off and landing at the Harare International Airport. The park is not well maintained so is not quite ideal for a picnic but it is certainly a place to see in Harare. It is near a security installation so observe visiting times strictly so as to avoid encounters with security people.
