Parks are doing a great job fixing this wonderful place. Soon it will return to its former glory?

An important national monument. However, important signs have been painted over in green oil paint and can no longer be read. Access to the key attractions has not been made easy and there's no ready lighting for the dark sections. Easy to fix if the will is there.

The caves are gorgeous but there are no guides which is a safety concern. There is no formal gate prohibiting anyone who hasn't paid from going in, or something as simple as prohibiting unaccompanied children. Safety is a concern but it's a beautiful place to visit

Was awestruck this time I went to the Chinoyi caves. I had been there a few times as a child but this time around I really appreciated the place. It is amazingly beautiful and the place has retained its authenticity. There is a pretty big picnic area and parking. It is convenient to get to from Harare as well. All the photos I post are unedited.

A great place to visit if you are into nature. The Sleeping Pool is a spectacular sight and I presume it will be great to dive in... if it was permitted. Ask the guides and attendance about the history of the Caves an their significant to the independence of Zimbabwe, that will really have you appreciate the mystique of the place. For great photography be sure to go there with a fisheye lens, with my 18-55mm lens I was not able to capture it all in one shot.
